Visa & Travel Procedure

Nepal Visa Procedure
Nepal Immigration Office at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu has been facilitating tourists flying to Nepal by providing a Visa on Arrival.

'On Arrival' visa procedure is very quick and simple. You can expect some queues during peak Tourist season. If you wish to skip those queues, you can also consider getting Visa from Nepalese Diplomatic Missions stationed abroad prior to your arrival. Choice is yours.

Once you arrive at the airport, please follow these simple procedures for a Tourist Visa on Arrival.

Step 1:
- Fill in  ‘Arrival Card’
- Fill in an online ‘Tourist Visa form’ using Kiosk machines upon your arrival at the airport.  
- Or fill in an online ‘Tourist Visa form’. You can fill it up  prior to your arrival visiting the link

Note: If you fill it from the website, you will get a submission Receipt with a barcode, please print it out and bring it along for acquiring a visa. It works for fifteen days and becomes invalid then after. If so, you will have to fill it up again.

Step 2:
- Make payment  at the bank according to your visa requirement ( 15/30/90 Days)
- Get the receipt

While you can use different modes of payments (at the visa fees collection counter), we advise you to carry some cash to be on the safe side.

On Arrival Visa Fee
15 Days – 30 USD
30 Days – 50 USD
90 Days – 125 USD

Step 3:  
- Proceed to the Immigration Desk with your online form,  payment receipts and your passport
- Hand in your documents to immigration officer for visa processing. He/she will issues the visa to you

Note: Your passport should valid for at least six months from your arrival date in Nepal.


Bhutan Visa Procedure

Step 1: Book a Bhutan tour.
 
Step 2: Send us scanned copy of your passport. Then, we will submit the visa application on your behalf to the Bhutan Tourism Council. The Bhutan Tourism Council will issue a Visa Clearance Letter before you arrive in Bhutan. We will send you the 
Visa Clearance Letter  by email, which you have to print and bring it with you.
 
Step 3: After presenting the visa clearance letter at the immigration in Bhutan airport, the immigration officer will stamp the visa on your passport.
 
Note: Your passport should valid for at least six months from your arrival date in Bhutan.
 

Tibet Visa Information and Procedure


Simply send us a scanned copy of your passport, then we will take care of the rest. 

The only place to get Tibet Visa / Tibet Travel Permit, and enter to Tibet is from mainland China or the capital of Nepal – Kathmandu. Whether you enter Tibet from mainland China or Nepal, the process for Tibet Travel Permit is same.

All travelers entering Tibet from Nepal must apply for their Chinese Group Visa in Nepal through a travel agent at the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu. Furthermore, a Tibet Travel Permit is needed for all foreign travelers to visit Tibet.

It takes minimum 3 working days for the Chinese Group Visa to be issued by the Embassy in Kathmandu. The Chinese Group Visas can be for as few as just one person, and are valid for 30 days. They are single entry and cannot be extended.

Foreign tourists can only keep one kind of Chinese visa. If you have got Chinese Visa; after obtaining China Group Visa to visit Tibet, you previous Chinese Visa will automatically become invalid. But you can visit mainland China with a Chinese Group Visa.

You should inform us if you want to travel mainland China with a Chinese Group Visa. On a China Group Visa, members of your travel group must enter and exit Tibet or China at the same time and the same place.

A Chinese Group Visa is not affixed in a passport but is a sheet of paper that lists all the names of the people in your group along with their nationalities, birth dates, and passport numbers

Step 1: Book a Tibet tour.

Step 2: Send us scanned copy of your passport. It should be sent at least 20 days before your travel to Tibet. With your passport information and Tibet tour itinerary, we will apply for an Invitation Letter for Group Visa and Tibet Travel Permit on your behalf at Tibet Tourism Bureau.

Step 3: Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, we apply for a Chinese Group Visa on your behalf with your original passport and photograph. It takes at least 3 working days for the visa to be issued by the Embassy in Kathmandu. In the meantime you will tour in Nepal.  

Note: Your passport should valid for at least six months 
from your arrival date in Tibet.

Conclusion: Both Tibet Travel Permit and Chinese Group Visa can only be applied through an authorized local travel agency. Only using your valid passport, scanned copies and photograph; we obtain your Tibet Travel Permit and the Chinese Group Visa easily.
